Click ‘Open Disc’ in DVD Shrink which will show you the contents of the DVD under ‘Full Disc Backup’ tab on the left side of screen. You can easily change the compression settings for your DVD. The storage space of the typical blank DVD is 4.7GB but most of the DVDs in the market normally use up to 8.5GB.

You can be able to make the information of 8.5GB DVD fit into DVD of 4.7GBby changing the compression settings. You can choose ‘Automatic’ under ‘Video’ from drop down menu. The contents of the DVD will be compressed in this way so that these contents will fit into right size for 4.7GB disc.

After selecting the compression feature, click on ‘Backup!’ A pop up will appear with several options which you can change. Select ‘ISO Image File’ under ‘Select Backup Target’ and then click OK. The next step is to burn the ISO image to the disc with the help of DVD decrypter software. You can have three modes in the DVD decrypter which are File mode, ISO mode and IFO mode.

You can select ISO: Write in the DVD decrypter under the ‘Mode’ and find the source of the ISO files under the ‘Source’ by browsing it. You will find lots of files on the screen. You just click on the ‘Write’ button. The hard drive is shown with this button with an arrow pointing to the DVD disc.

The DVD decrypter software will monitor the burning process and it will also show you the information like remaining time. A pop up will appear which will let you know about the completion of the burning process.
